Infringements (General) Further Amendment (Lodgeable Infringement Offences) Regulations 2012

The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Infringements (General) Regulations 2006 to prescribe certain infringement offences under the Crown Land (Reserves) Act 1978, the Forests Act 1958, the National Parks Act 1975, the Plant Biosecurity Act 2010, the Residential Tenancies Act 1997, the Road Safety Act 1986, the Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 1989, the Water Act 1989 and the Wildlife Act 1975 as lodgeable infringement offences for the purposes of the Infringements Act 2006.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 168 of the Infringements Act 2006.

3Commencement

(1)These Regulations, except regulation 7, come into operation on 3 October 2012.

(2)Regulation 7 comes into operation on 31 March 2013.

4Principal Regulations

In these Regulations, the Infringements (General) Regulations 2006[1] are called the Principal Regulations.

5Schedule 3 amended—National Parks Act 1975

(1)In item 8.1 of Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations for "Section" substitute "Sections 44A(1) and".

(2)After item 8.1 of Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations insert—

"8.2Regulations 63(1), 64(1) and 66(1) of the National Parks (Park) Regulations 2003.".

6New item 8AA inserted into Schedule 3

After item 8 of Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations insert—
