Melbourne City Link Amendment Regulations 2012

The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Melbourne City Link Regulations 2009 to update the definition of digital toll camera unit.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 118 of the Melbourne City Link Act 1995.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 November 2012.

4Definitions

In regulation 5 of the Melbourne City Link Regulations 2009[1], for the definition of digital toll camera unit substitute—

"digital toll camera unit means any of the following devices—

(a)Vehicle Registration Sensor Unit Part Number 8633 001-415;

(b)Kapsch Vehicle Registration Sensor Unit Colour FX-970;

(c)Kapsch Vehicle Registration Sensor Unit LPN FX-967;".
