Road Safety Road Rules Amendment (Fire Services Commissioner) Rules 2012

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Rules is to amend the Road Safety Road Rules 2009 to amend the definition of emergency vehicle to include a vehicle under the control of the Fire Services Commissioner.

2Authorising provision

These Rules are made under section 95D of the Road Safety Act 1986.

3Dictionary

In the dictionary to the Road Safety Road Rules 2009[1], in the definition of emergency vehicle, for paragraph (ca) substitute—

"(ca)a vehicle that is under the control of the Fire Services Commissioner;".
