Road Safety (Traffic Management) Amendment (Peninsula Link) Regulations 2012

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to provide that the Peninsula Link Freeway Corporation is a responsible road authority for the purposes of the Road Safety (Traffic Management) Regulations 2009.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986.

3Definitions

(1)In regulation 4 of the Road Safety (Traffic Management) Regulations 2009[1] insert the following definition—

"Peninsula Link Freeway Corporation has the same meaning as in the Road Management Act 2004;".

(2)In regulation 4 of the Road Safety (Traffic Management) Regulations 2009, in the definition of responsible road authority—

(a)in paragraph (c) after "the Freeway Corporation;" insert "and"; and

(b)after paragraph (c) insert—

"(d)  the Peninsula Link Freeway Corporation;".
