Public Health and Wellbeing Amendment Regulations 2013
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Public Health and Wellbeing Regulations 2009 to reflect that acupuncturists are now registered under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law.
2Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 232 and 235 of the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008.
3Exempt registered premises
For regulation 15(e) of the Public Health and Wellbeing Regulations 2009[1] substitute—
"(e)the practice of—
(i)a person registered in the acupuncturists' division of the register kept by the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law; or
(ii)a registered health practitioner whose registration is endorsed by a National Board as being qualified to practise as an acupuncturist under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law;".
