Transfer of Land (Fees) Amendment Regulations 2015

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Transfer of Land (Fees) Regulations 2004—

(a)to increase specific fees and amounts payable to the Registrar under the Transfer of Land Act 1958; and

(b)to make a technical amendment.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 120 of the Transfer of Land Act 1958.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2015.

4Definitions

In regulation 5 of the Transfer of Land (Fees) Regulations 2004[1]—

(a)the definition of Act is revoked;

(b)in the definition of search service, for "Titles." substitute "Titles;";

(c)after the definition of search service insert—

"the Act means the Transfer of Land Act 1958.".

5Specific fees and amounts

In Schedule 2 to the Transfer of Land (Fees) Regulations 2004—

(a)in item 12—

(i)for "$6.28" substitute "$6.45";

(ii)for "$10.70" substitute "$10.95";

(iii)for "$6.93" substitute "$7.12";

(b)in item 14—

(i)for "$2.44"  substitute "$2.50";

(ii)for "$7.30" substitute "$7.50";

(iii)for "$4.17" substitute "$4.28";

(c)in item 84—

(i)for "$7.65" substitute "$7.86";

(ii)for "$10.03" substitute "$10.30";

(d)in item 84A—
