Estate Agents (Exemption) Amendment Regulations 2015

The Administrator of the State of Victoria as the Governor's deputy, with the advice of the Executive Council, makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Estate Agents (Exemption) Regulations 2014 to revoke an exemption for persons acting as estate agents in relation to certain large properties.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 99 of the Estate Agents Act 1980.

3Definitions

In regulation 5 of the Estate Agents (Exemption) Regulations 2014[1], the definition of rural land is revoked.

4Regulation 7 revoked

Regulation 7 of the Estate Agents (Exemption) Regulations 2014 is revoked.
