Country Fire Authority (Community Fire Refuges) Amendment Regulations 2015

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Country Fire Authority (Community Fire Refuges) Regulations 2014 to prescribe a place to be a community fire refuge for the purpose of the definition of community fire refuge in section 50A of the Country Fire Authority Act 1958.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 110 of the Country Fire Authority Act 1958.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 12 December 2015.

4 Places prescribed to be community fire refuges

In regulation 4 of the Country Fire Authority (Community Fire Refuges) Regulations 2014[1]—

(a)in paragraph (c), for "Schedule 3." substitute "Schedule 3;";

(b)after paragraph (c) insert—

"(d)the Millgrove Community Fire Refuge, being the building known as the Wesburn-Millgrove Country Fire Authority Fire Station located at 3060 Warburton Highway, Millgrove in the Shire of Yarra Ranges, shown hatched on the sketch plan in Schedule 4.".

5New Schedule 4 inserted

After Schedule 3 to the Country Fire Authority (Community Fire Refuges) Regulations 2014 insert—

"Schedule 4—Millgrove Community Fire Refuge

Regulation 4(d)

".
