Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Further Amendment Regulations 2016

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 2011—

(a)to provide for the appointment of a new member to the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation; and

(b)to revoke spent regulations in relation to appointments whose term has ended.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 43 of the Tobacco Act 1987.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2016.

4Principal Regulations

In these Regulations, the Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 2011[1] are called the Principal Regulations.

5Appointment of members of Foundation

(1)For regulation 5(1)(a)(ii) of the Principal Regulations substitute

"(ii)Ms Fiona McCormack; and".

(2)Regulation 5(1)(b)(iii) of the Principal Regulations is revoked.

(3)For regulation 5(3) and (4) of the Principal Regulations substitute

"(3)The appointment under subregulation (1)(a)(i) is for the period ending on 30 September 2016.

Note

The appointment under subregulation (1)(a)(i) commenced on 1 July 2011.

(4)The appointment under subregulation (1)(a)(ii) is for the period commencing on 1 July 2016 and ending on 30 June 2019.".
