Road Safety (Vehicles) Amendment (Australian Border Force Vehicles) Regulations 2016
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 2009 to replace references to an Australian Customs Service vehicle with references to an Australian Border Force vehicle.
2Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986.
3Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on 16 August 2016.
4Principal Regulations
In these Regulations, the Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 2009[1] are called the Principal Regulations.
5Horns, alarms etc.
In clause 34(3)(e) of Schedule 2 to the Principal Regulations, for "an Australian Customs Service vehicle" substitute "an Australian Border Force vehicle".
6Other lights and reflectors
In clause 118(6) of Schedule 2 to the Principal Regulations, in paragraph (e) of the definition of exempt vehicle, for "an Australian Customs Service vehicle" substitute "an Australian Border Force vehicle".
