Victorian Energy Efficiency Target Amendment (High Efficiency Televisions) Regulations 2016

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objectives

The objectives of these Regulations are to amend the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target Regulations 2008—

(a)to modify the method and variables to be used to calculate in tonnes the carbon dioxide equivalent of greenhouse gases to be reduced by the prescribed activity of installing a high efficiency television; and

(b)to make changes to the prescribed activity of installing a high efficiency television; and

(c)to make other minor and technical amendments.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 75 of the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target Act 2007.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2017.

4Schedule 24 amended

(1)In Schedule 24 to the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target Regulations 2008[1], in Part A—

(a)for "AS/NZS 62087.2.2:2010"

(where twice occurring) substitute "AS/NZS 62087.2.2:2011";

(b)in Item 24A(b) for "5.5" substitute "7";
