Transport Accident (Administration of Charges) Amendment Regulations 2017

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the period prescribed in the Transport Accident (Administration of Charges) Regulations 2011 in respect of which the owner of a motor vehicle conditionally registered as a recreation motor cycle must pay the applicable transport accident charge.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 132 of the Transport Accident Act1986.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on

1 January 2018.

4Prescribed periods

In item 4 of regulation 5 of the Transport Accident (Administration of Charges) Regulations 2011[1], for "12 months" substitute "Period of registration".
