Public Health and Wellbeing (Prescribed Accommodation) Amendment Regulations 2024

The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy, with the advice of the Executive Council, makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Public Health and Wellbeing (Prescribed Accommodation) Regulations 2020 to update the reference to an SDA enrolled dwelling.

2Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 232 and 235 of the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2024.

4Accommodation that is not prescribed accommodation

In regulation 7 of the Public Health and Wellbeing (Prescribed Accommodation) Regulations 2020[1], for paragraph (j) substitute—

"(j)an SDA dwelling within the meaning of section 3(1) of the Residential Tenancies Act 1997.".
