(Relating to the Vice-Chancellor and other officers)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the University of Sydney Act 1989, has been pleased to approve the By-law made by the Senate of the University of Sydney and set forth hereunder.

The Senate of the University of Sydney, in pursuance of the University

of Sydney Act 1989, makes the following By-law:

Chapter 6 of the By-laws of the University of Sydney is amended:

(a) by omitting sections 2–8;

(b) by renumbering section 9 as section 2.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The purpose of this By-law is to amend the By-laws of the University of Sydney so as to remove the sections in Chapter 6 relating to the various senior officers of the University other than the Vice-Chancellor.

The Senate of the University has a general power to determine any of the matters dealt with by the sections repealed by this By-law.
