(Relating to financial matters)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the University of Sydney Act 1989, has been pleased to approve the By-law made by the Senate of the University of Sydney and set forth hereunder.

The Senate of the University of Sydney, in pursuance of the University

of Sydney Act 1989, makes the following By-law:

The By-laws of the University of Sydney are amended by omitting

Chapter 4.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The purpose of this By-law is to amend the By-laws of the University of Sydney

so as to repeal Chapter 4 which relates to the financial affairs of the University.

The Senate of the University is empowered to determine by resolution any of the

matters repealed by this By-law.
