I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the University of New England Act 1993, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 16 August 1994 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Proclamation commences the uncommenced provisions (section 9) of the University of New England Act 1993. (The other provisions of the Act commenced on 1 January 1994.) Section 9 provides for the composition of the Council of the University of New England.
