(Relating to repeal of provision concerning faculties)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the University of New England Act 1989, has been pleased to approve the By-law made by the Board of Governors of the University of New England and set forth hereunder.

The Board of Governors of the University of New England, in pursuance of the University of New England Act 1989, hereby makes the By-law set forth hereunder:

Amendment of By-laws of the University of New England

The By-laws of the University of New England are amended:

(a) by omitting clause 2 of By-law No. 15;

(b)

by renumbering clauses 1A and 1B of By-law No. 15 as clauses 2 and 3, respectively.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this By-law is to repeal the provision relating to faculties in the By-laws of the University of New England. The By-laws already contain a more general statement about such academic entities which is more appropriate to the different types of academic structures that exist among members of the University network and Orange Agricultural College.
