   University of Canberra Regulations

   I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the University of Canberra Act 1989.

   Citation

   1. These Regulations may be cited as the University of Canberra Regulations.

   Commencement

   2. These Regulations are taken to have commenced on 1 January 1990.

   Interpretation

   3.In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears:

   “Act” means the University of Canberra Act 1989.

   Taxation

   4. Section 38 of the Act does not apply in relation to taxation under the Payroll Tax Act 1987 of the Australian Capital Territory.
