An Act to amend the University of Canberra Act 1989

The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:

1. Name of Act

   This Act is the University of Canberra Amendment Act 2024.

2. Commencement

   This Act commences on the day after its notification day.

   NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

3. Legislation amended

   This Act amends the University of Canberra Act 1989.

4. Sections 11, 11A and 15

5. Delegation by council
   New section 17 (4)

   insert

   (4)A delegate may, subject to the statutes, subdelegate to an entity mentioned in subsection (1) a function delegated under that subsection.
