UNIVERSITY LEGISLATION (AMENDMENT) ACT 1994 No. 16—

PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) G. SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the University Legislation (Amendment) Act 1994, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 8 July 1996 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of Schedule 1 to that Act relating to the Charles Sturt University Act 1989, the University of New England Act 1993 and the University of New South Wales Act 1989 commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Proclamation commences the uncommenced provisions of Schedule 1 to the Act relating to the Charles Sturt University Act 1989, the University of New England Act 1993 and the University of New South Wales Act 1989. The provisions relate to the making of by-laws and rules by those universities.
