PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEEENCE ACT 1903–1912.

Amendment to Universal Training Regulation 155.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby certify that, on account of urgency, the following Regulation under the Defence Act 1903–1912 should come into immediate operation, and make the Regulation to come into operation forthwith as a Provisional Regulation.

Dated this nineteenth day of December, One thousand nine hundred and twelve.

PART V.—CITIZEN FORCES.

Amendment.

Regulation 155.—

In the second column—

Opposite—“Lieutenant” delete “£17 15s.” and insert“£18 15s.”.

In the first column—

After “Lieutenant” insert “2nd Lieutenant”.

Under “Lieutenant” insert “Quartermaster at rate of corresponding rank”

Delete “Bandmaster” and insert “Brigade Bandmaster”.

After “Squadron, Battery, Troop or Company Sergeant Major” insert “, Farrier Quartermaster Sergeant”.

After “Sergeant, Band Sergeant, Armourer Sergeant” insert “, Pioneer Sergeant, Signaling Sergeant, Sergeant Cook, Sergeant Trumpeter.”

Before “Gunner” insert “Lance Corporal”.

After “Drummer” insert “, Cook, Clerk, batman, stretcher bearer.”
