PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1912.

Additions to Universal Training Regulations 43, 73, and 150.

I, THE GOVERNOR GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby certify that, on account of urgency, the following Regulations under the Defence Act 1903-1912 should come into immediate operation, and make the Regulations to come into operation forthwith as Provisional Regulations.

REGULATIONS (PROVISIONAL) FOR UNIVERSAL TRAINING.

Additions.

Part III.—Senior Cadets.

At the end of Regulation 43, add the following new Regulation:—

43a. An officer of the Senior Cadets admitted to the Royal Military College of Australia as a Staff Cadet, will be required to resign his commission from a date prior to his attestation in the Corps of Staff Cadets.

Part IV.—Junior Cadets.

At the end of Regulation 73, add the following new Regulation:—

73a. An officer of the Junior Cadets admitted to the Royal Military College of Australia as a Staff Cadet, will be required to resign his commission from a date prior to his attestation in the Corps of Staff Cadets.

Part V.Citizen Forces.

At the end of Regulation 150, add the following new Regulation:—

150a. An officer admitted to the Royal Military College of Australia as a Staff Cadet, will be required to resign his commission from a date prior to his attestation in the Corps of Staff Cadets.
