PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1912.

Regulations (Provisional) for Universal Training—Part V.—Citizen Forces—Regulation 155—Amendment.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby certify that on account of urgency the following Regulation under the Defence Act 1903-1912 should come into immediate operation, and make the Regulation to come into operation forthwith as a Provisional Regulation.

REGULATIONS (PROVISIONAL) FOR UNIVERSAL TRAINING.

Part V.—Citizen Forces.

Regulation 155.

After the words:—

“A similar allowance as in (a)shall be paid to a soldier who is the sole support of a widowed mother.”

insert:

“The allowance under (b) shall be limited to each child under 14 years of age, who is dependent upon his father for support.”
