PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1912.

Amendment to Universal Training Regulations 63, 72, and 73.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby certify that on account of urgency the following Regulations under the Defence Act 1903-1912 should come into immediate operation, and make the Regulation to come into operation forthwith as Provisional Regulations.

Regulations (Provisional) for Universal Training.

Part iv.—junior cadets.

Amendments.

In Regulation 63, line 2, delete the word “Australian.”

Regulation 72, after first paragraph add new paragraph—

“The substantive commission on the Reserve of Officers’ List of the Citizen Forces, granted to an officer of the Junior Cadets, will be withdrawn when such officer ceases to serve with the Junior Cadets.”

Regulation 73—At end of Regulation add new paragraph—

“The honorary commission granted under the foregoing paragraph will be withdrawn when the officer ceases to serve with the Junior Cadets.”
