PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1912.

Regulations (Provisional) for Universal Training—Part iii.—Senior Cadets—Regulation 49 (2)—amendment.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby certify that on account of urgency the following Regulation under the Defence Act 1903-1912 should come into immediate operation, and make the Regulation to come into operation forthwith as a Provisional Regulation.

Dated this fifteenth day of October, One thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

Regulations (Provisional) for Universal Training—Part III—

Senior Cadets.

Amendment.

Regulation 49 (2) is cancelled and the following substituted therefor:—

“(2). The following shall be the articles and the scale of issue of uniform to Senior Cadets:—

Military Shirt, khaki, woollen

Breeches, cord, woollen, pairs

Hat with band, numeral and strap

One of each on commencement of first year’s

Puttees, pairs

Subsequent issues of any article will only be made when the first issue of such article has been outgrown or has come unserviceable through fair wear and tear, but not more than two articles of a sort are to be issued during the trainee’s service as a Senior Cadet. Issues of uniform found necessary as above will only be made at intervals of six months, i.e., on 1st January and 1st July of each year.”
