PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1912.

Regulations (Provisional) for Universal Training—Part III—Senior Cadets—Amendment—Regulation 49.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, here by certify that, on account of urgency, the following Regulation under the Defence Act 1903-1912 should come into immediate operation, and, further, should be taken to have come into operation on and from the first day of July, 1911, and make the Regulation to come into operation accordingly as a Provisional Regulation.

REGULATIONS (PROVISIONAL) FOR UNIVERSAL TRAINING, PART III—SENIOR CADETS.

Addition.

After Regulation 49 (6) add—

“(7). Officer of Senior Cadets may supply themselves privately with the clothing authorized, in lieu of receiving the ordinary free issue, and may, on production of sub-vouchers, recover the cost of such clothing, not exceeding the published prices. The payment of such sums shall be entered in the record of clothing issues of the unit, as if the articles paid for had been issued in kind.”

(The foregoing sub-paragraph shall have effect only during the period 1st July, 1911, to 7th May, 1912, and from the 1st February, 1913, until further prescribed.)
