PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT

1903-1912.

AMENDMENT TO U.T. REGULATION 155

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council hereby certify that, on account of urgency, the following Regulation under the Defence Act 1903-1912 should come into immediate operation, and, further, should be taken to have come into operation on and from the 1st July, 1912, and make the Regulation to come into operation accordingly as a Provisional Regulation.

UNIVERSAL TRAINING REGULATIONS (PROVISIONAL).

PART V.—CITIZEN FORCES.

Amendment.

Regulation 155.—In Table of Rates of Pay for Citizen Forces, after “Squadron, Battery, or Company Sergeant-Major, Farrier Q.M. Sergeant, Colour Sergeant, Staff Sergeant, Sergeant Compounder” add “Sergeant Cook.”

At end of paragraph relating to pay of Specialists, add following new paragraph:—

“Special Duty Pay of six shillings shall be paid to each man borne on the authorized establishment as ‘Cook’ for each day’s attendance at the Camp of Training of the Unit to which he belongs, on the certificate of the Commanding Officer that his duties have been efficiently carried out.”
