Arrangement for conduct of election.

[1]        On 3 July 2015, United Voice lodged with the Fair Work Commission (the

Commission) prescribed information in relation to an election for offices of the Northern

Territory Branch (the Branch) of United Voice due to insufficient nominations in a previous

election (E2014/64).

[2]        On 3 August 2015, the Commission wrote to United Voice and requested confirmation

of the names of Sections and the numbers of Branch Council Delegates to Sections in the

Branch, as there appeared to be some inconsistencies concerning the unfilled offices from the

election in E2014/64.

[3]        On 12 August 2015 United Voice lodged amended prescribed information. The

amended prescribed information was for the following offices:

[4]        I am satisfied that an election for the abovenamed offices is required to be held under

the rules of the organisation and, under subsection 189(3) of the Fair Work (Registered

Organisations) Act 2009, I am making arrangements for the conduct of the election by the

Australian Electoral Commission.
