Acts, 1890 to 1959," in certain particulars, and for other purposes, [A ssented to 19 th N ovember , 1959.] B E it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis­ lative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:— 1. (1.) This Act may be cited as “ The Union Short title- Trustee Company of Australia, Limited, Acts Amendment Act of 1959.” (2.) “ The Union Trustee Company of Australia, £°.Ueotiv® Limited, Acts, 1890 to 1959,” and this Act may be 1 ° collectively cited as “ The Union Trustee Company of Australia, Limited, Acts, 1890 to 1959.”

Validation. 3. The Company shall be deemed to have lawfully undertaken any business which has been undertaken by the Company since its registration in Queensland and which, save for the provisions of section thirty-six of “ The Union Trustee Company of Australia, Limited, Act,” would have been lawfully undertaken by the Company, and neither the Company nor any officer thereof shall be liable to a penalty in respect of anything done or omitted to be done in contravention of the said section thirty-six.
