The Uniform Rules Committee has made the following rules of court under the Civil Procedure

Explanatory note
The object of these Rules is to apply the procedure for court appointed referrals for legal assistance to the
Industrial Relations Commission (including the Industrial Court).

1      Name of Rules

These Rules are the Uniform Civil Procedure Rules (Amendment No 70) 2014.

2      Commencement

These Rules commence on the day on which they are published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Uniform Civil Procedure Rules 2005

Rule 7.34 Definitions

Insert after paragraph (b) of the definition of registrar:

(b1) in relation to the Industrial Relations Commission, the Industrial Registrar referred to in section 207 of the Industrial Relations Act 1996, and
