Procedure Act 2005.

Explanatory note

The object of this Rule is to enable a person to comply with a subpoena by producing a copy of the document required to be produced in any electronic form that the issuing party has indicated will be acceptable (unless production of the original document is required).

This Rule is the Uniform Civil Procedure Rules (Amendment No 45)
2011.

2      Commencement

This Rule commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Uniform Civil Procedure Rules 2005

Rule 33.6 Compliance with subpoena

Omit rule 33.6 (7) (b). Insert instead:

(b) in any electronic form that the issuing party has indicated will be acceptable.
