Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910.

An Ordinance to amend the Unclaimed Moneys Ordinance 1950

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Unclaimed Moneys (Amendment)

Ordinance 1982.1

Amendments relating to administration

2. The Unclaimed Moneys Ordinance 19502 is amended as set out in the

following table:

Sub-section 5 (2) . . . Omit "Treasurer", substitute "Attorney-General".
Section 8 Omit "Treasurer", substitute "Attorney-General".
Sub-section 12 (1) . . . Omit "Treasurer", substitute "Attorney-General".
Sub-section 12 (2) . . . Omit "Treasurer", substitute "Attorney-General".
Paragraph 13 (3) (b) . . Omit "Treasurer", substitute "Attorney-General".
Sub-section 13 (4) . . . Omit "Treasurer", substitute "Attorney-General".
Provision Amendment
Section 3 Omit "Treasurer" from the definition of "corresponding law", substitute
"Attorney-General".
Sub-section 3A (1) . . . Omit "Treasurer", substitute "Attorney-General".
Sub-section 3A (3) . . . Omit "Treasurer", substitute "Attorney-General".
Sub-section 4 (4) . . . Omit "Department of the Treasury", substitute "Attorney-General's
Department". '

Amendment of Seat of Government (Administration) Ordinance

3. The Second Schedule to the Seat of Government (Administration)

Ordinance 1930 is amended—

(a) by inserting in Part 1 —

"Unclaimed Moneys Ordinance 1950"

after—

"Trustee Companies Ordinance 1947";

and

(b) by omitting from Part 3—

"Unclaimed Moneys Ordinance 1950".
