UNCLAIMED MONEY AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 1994

Made by the Lieutenant-Governor and deputy of the Governor in Executive Council.
Citation

1.     These regulations may be cited as the Unclaimed Money Amendment

Regulations 1994.

Principal regulations

2.     In these regulations the Unclaimed Money Regulations 1991* are

referred to as the principal regulations.

Regulation 4 amended

3.     (1) Regulation 4 (2) of the principal regulations is amended by deleting

"The" and substituting the following —

after subregulation (2) the following subregulation — (2) Regulation 4 of the principal regulations is amended by inserting

(3) Despite subregulations (1) and (2), if the Treasurer

considers that the publication of —

(a) the name or address of the person who made the

notiLication or payment;

(b) the stated address of the owner of the money; or
(c) the description required by subregulation (2) (c),

would be likely to reveal information about the owner that may be private or confidential, the Treasurer is not required to publish it.
