TWEED RIVER ENTRANCE SAND AND BYPASSING ACT 1995- PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Cordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 6 of the Tweed River Entrance Sand Bypassing Act 1995, do, by this my Proclamation, amend Schedule 3 to that Act by inserting in that Schedule a copy of the further agreement set out in the Schedule to this Proclamation.

Tweed River Entrance Sand Bypassing Act 1995—Proclamation

Schedule

THIS DEED OF FURTHER AGREEMENT is made on the sixteenth
day of September 1997
BETWEEN:  THE STATE OF NEW SOUTH WALES (“NSW”)
AND:  THE STATE OF QUEENSLAND (“QUEENSLAND”)

RECITALS WHEREAS:

NSW and Queensland have agreed to the implementation of the Project known as the Tweed River Entrance Sand Bypassing Project and have entered into a Heads of Agreement on the THIRTY-FIRST day of MARCH 1994 and a Deed of Agreement on the SECOND day

of MARCH 1995.

B The purpose of this Deed of Further Agreement is to give effect to the Heads of Agreement by amending certain items in the Deed of Agreement.

NOW IT IS AGREED that clause 10.3 of the Deed of Agreement is amended by omitting the Table to that clause and by inserting instead the following Table:
