Application to extend single interest employer authorisation.

[1] An application was made on 15 March 2013 by Trustees Of The Roman Catholic Church for the Diocese of Broken Bay; Catholic Education Office, Diocese of Parramatta and Dr Dan White, as Executive Director of Schools and legal representative of the Catholic Education Office, Sydney, pursuant to s.252 of the Fair Work Act 2009 (the Act) for approval to extend the single interest employer authorisation made by Fair Work Australia on 10 April 2012 [PR522164].

[2] The Independent Education Union of Australia, being a bargaining representative of the proposed agreement, has provided correspondence that it does not oppose the application.

[3] I am satisfied that each of the requirements of s.252 of the Act has been met. The application to extend the single interest employer authorisation is approved. The authorisation is extended until 9 April 2014. An order reflecting this decision is in PR535097.
