AN ACT to amend the Trustees Act, 1900-1956.

[Assented to 30th September, 1957.]

BE it enacted, by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Trustees Act iml,ravpon.

Amendment Act, 1957.

(2) In this Act, the Trustees Act, 1900-1956,

Act 64 Victories No. 17 as amended by Acts Nos. 7 of 1927, 38 of 1951, 35 and 54 of 1955, and 39 of 1956,

is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act

may be cited as the Trustees Act, 1900-1957.

2. The principal Act is amended by adding after

section fifty-four the following section:-

Savings

54A. Trustees may by written notice signed by them authorise any Savings Bank to pay money out of any account of the trust in the Savings Bank on presentation of withdrawal forms signed in the manner specified in the written notice, and until that authority is cancelled by written notice signed by the trus- tees and given to the Savings Bank, the Savings Bank is entitled to pay moneys out of the account on presentation of withdrawal forms so signed.
