Act No. 6, 1969.

An Act to effect changes in the share structure of certain trustee companies; for this and other purposes to amend the Trustee Companies Act, 1964, as subsequently amended; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 14th March, 1969.]

"D E it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: —

1.      (1) This Act may be cited as the “Trustee Companies short title,

(Amendment) Act, 1969”,

No. 6 ,1969	(2) The Trustee Companies Act, 1964, as subse­ quently amended and as amended by this Act, may be cited as the Trustee Companies Act, 1964—1969.
(3) This Act shall commence on a day to be appointed by the Governor and notified by proclamation published in the Gazette.

Amendment	2. The Trustee Companies Act, 1964, as subsequently

(iii)   by omitting from paragraph (c) of the same provisions the words “two dollars fifty cents” and by inserting in lieu thereof the words “one dollar” ;

(iv)   by omitting from paragraph (d) of the same provisions the words “ten dollars” and by inserting in lieu thereof the words “five dollars” ;

(b)	(i)	by omitting from the short heading “Burns

Schedule the word “T r u s t ” and by inserting
in lieu thereof the word “T r u s t e e ” ;
(ii)	by omitting from paragraph (a) of the pro­ visions set out under the same short heading the words “twenty cents” and by inserting in lieu thereof the words “ten cents” ;

by omitting from the same paragraph the No. 6,1969 wherever occurring and by inserting in lieu thereof the words “three hundred thousand” ;

(iv)   by omitting from the same paragraph the words “two dollars” and by inserting in lieu thereof the words “one dollar” ;

(v)   by omitting from paragraph (c) of the same provisions the words “two thousand shares” and by inserting in lieu thereof the words “four thousand shares” ;

(vi)   by omitting from paragraph (d) of the same provisions the words “two dollars” and by inserting in lieu thereof the words “one dollar” ;

(vii)    by omitting from the same paragraph the words “one hundred thousand” and by inserting in lieu thereof the words “two hundred thousand” ;

(c) (i) by omitting from paragraph (b) of the pro­

visions set out in the same Schedule under the

short heading “P e r p e t u a l T r u s t e e s A u s­

tr a lia L im it e d ” the words “two dollars” and

by inserting in lieu thereof the words “one

dollar” ;

(ii)   by omitting from paragraph (c) of the same provisions the words “shall remain” and by inserting in lieu thereof the words “shall be and remain” ,

(iii)   by omitting from the same paragraph the words “four dollars” and by inserting in lieu thereof the words “two dollars” ;

(iv)   by omitting from the same paragraph the words “five hundred thousand” and by insert­ ing in lieu thereof the words “one million”.
