His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Trustee Act 1925.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to prescribe Housing Loans Insurance

Corporation Limited (formerly Housing Loans Insurance Corporation) as an approved insurer for the purposes of insuring repayment of loans secured by property.

This Regulation is made under the Trustee Act 1925, including section 18 (3) and section 104A (the general regulation making power).

1 Name of Regulation

Regulation 1997.

2 Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 July 1997.

3 Amendment of Trustee Regulation 1995

The Trustee Regulation 1995 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

4 Notes

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.

Schedule 1 Amendment

(Clause 3)

Clause 8 Prescribed insurers: sec. 18

Omit “Housing Loans Insurance Corporation” from clause 8.
Insert instead “Housing Loans Insurance Corporation Limited”.
