TRUSTEE ACT 1925 - REGULATION

(Relating to a prescribed credit rating organisation)

HIS Excellency the Governor with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Trustee Act 1925, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Trustee Regulation 1988 is amended by omitting clause 5 (a)

and by inserting instead the following paragraph:

(a) Standard and Poor's (Australia) Pty Ltd trading as Australian Ratings;

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend clause 5 of the Trustee Regulation 1988,

which prescribes credit rating organisations for the purposes of section 14A (2) (m) of the Trustee Act 1925. The amendment is consequential on the takeover by Standard and Poor's (Australia) Pty Ltd of Australian Ratings Pty. Ltd.
