AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Trespass on Commonwealth Lands

I

Ordinance 1932-1943, as amended by the Trespass

on Commonwealth Lands Ordinance 1944.

BE it ordained by the Governor-Genera] in and over the Com-Executive Council, in pursuance of the powers conferred by the monwealth of Australia, with the advice of the Federal Seat of Government Acceptance Act 1909-1938 and the Scat of
Government (Administration) Act 1910-1940, as follows:—

1.— (1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Trespass on short title and

Commonwealth Lands Ordinance (No. 2) 1944.* citation.

(2.) Section one of the Trespass on Commonwealth Lands Ordinance 1944 is amended by omitting' sub-section (3.).

(3.) The Trespass on Commonwealth Lands Ordinance

1932-1943, as amended by the Trespass on Commonwealth Lands Ordinance 1944, is in this Ordinance referred to as the Principal Ordinance.

(4.) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordinance, may be cited as the Trespass on Commonwealth Lands Ordinance 1932-1944.

2. This Ordinance shall be deemed to have come into operation commencement,

on the date of the commencement of the Trespass on Common-

wealth Lands Ordinance 1944.

3. Section three B of the Principal Ordinance is amended by Trespassing on

lawns and

adding at the end thereof the words "Penal ty: Ten pounds". g*ISed"are*
