1912. No. 248.

PROVISIONAL TREASURY REGULATION UNDER THE AUDIT ACT 1901–1909.

I, THE GOVENOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby certify that, on account of urgency, the following amendment of the Treasury Regulations under the Audit Act 1901–1909 should come into immediate operation, and make the amendment to come into operation forthwith as a Provisional Regulation.

Dated this 19th day of December, One thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Add the following to Treasury Regulation 47—

“Notwithstanding the method of calculation set out in this Regulation, salaries, wages and allowances for portion of a month of officers and seamen of the Fisheries Investigation vessel shall be computed by reckoning each day’s pay to be equal to one-thirtieth of the monthly rate”
