TREASURY REGULATIONS UNDER THE AUDIT ACT 1901-1920.

I, THE DEPUTY OF THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Treasury Regulations under the Audit Act 1901-1920, to come into operation forthwith.

Treasury Regulations under the Audit Act 1901-1920 are hereby amended as follows:—

Regulations 72, 83, 84, 85, 102, 105, 106, and 107 are amended by inserting “Forms 17 and 17a” wherever “Form 17a” now appears.

Regulation 96 is amended by inserting “Section 84 of the Constitution and” after the words “pensions under”.

Regulation 58 is cancelled, and the following new regulation inserted:—

“Accounts for pensions under Section 84 of the Constitution shall be prepared in Form 17, and accounts for pensions under the Superannuation Act 1922 shall be prepared upon Form 17a unless otherwise directed by the Treasurer.

For the purpose of calculating pensions under Section 84 of the Constitution, the daily rate shall be ascertained by dividing the yearly rate by 365¼.”

Form 17 is cancelled, and a new form bearing the same number as shown below is prescribed in lieu thereof.

Form 22 is amended by inserting the words “Form 17 and 17a” in lieu of “ Form 17a”.

Form 29 is amended by inserting the words “See Forms Nos. 17, 17a, and 20 ”, in lieu of “ See Forms Nos. 17a and 20”
