Pream ble.	A T 7H E R E A S C(>rtain sums of money have In'en w ithdrawn from the
V T Puhlie Account of the Colonial 'L’reasurer in the various Banks

without the authority of Parliament for the pur])os(' of paying the claims of contractors and others in anticipation of the sanction of Parliament, Avhich said sums are shown in the Schedule hereto, and amount to the sum of One hundred and llfty-niiu' tliousand four hundred and seventy-tlm'e pounds and eightpence ; And whereas the respective sums so Avithdrawn and payments so made Avere necessary to carry on and maintain the Public Service : And Avhereas it is expedient to indcunnify all ])crsons concerned or engaged in the matter of such Avithdrawals oi- payments ; Jle it therefore enacted l)y the Queen’s Most Excellent iMajesty, hy and Avith the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Jiiegislative Assembly of New South "Wales in Parliament assembled, and l>y the authority of the same, as folloAvs ;—
