These Regulations may be cited as the Treasury Bills Regulations.
Treasury Bills shall bear interest payable quarterly on the
31st March, 30th June, 30th September, and 31st December in each year: Provided that where any Treasury Bills specify some other dates as being those upon which interest shall be payable, those Treasury Bills shall bear interest payable upon the dates as specified.
Treasury Bills shall be issued in the following form:

This Bill entitles the bearer to payment at the Commonwealth Treasury at Melbourne of dollars (or such reduced amount as may be indorsed hereon) on the day of , One thousand nine hundred and , together with interest thereon at the rate of per centum per annum payable, and such sums are secured on the Consolidated Revenue of the Commonwealth of Australia.

On the redemption in part of any Treasury Bill, it shall not be necessary to cancel the Bill, but a certificate shall be indorsed thereon, signed by the Secretary to the Treasury and registered in the office of the Auditor-General, specifying the amount of such redemption and the amount of such Bill that remains unredeemed.
The Regulations under the Treasury Bills Act 1914-1915 (being Statutory Rules 1922, No. 44 as amended by Statutory Rules 1922, No. 78 and Statutory Rules 1923, No. 21) are repealed as from the commencement of these Regulations.
