Travel Agents Amendment Regulations

(No. 2) 2003

Made by the Lieutenant-Governor and deputy of the Governor in
Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Travel Agents Amendment

734 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, WA 9 March 2004

2.            The regulations amended

The amendment in these regulations is to the Travel Agents
Regulations 1986*.

3.             Regulation 4B inserted

After regulation 4A the following regulation is inserted

44  

4B. Prescribed activities and circumstances under
section 4(3)(c)
For the purposes of section 4(3)(c), a person who carries on an activity that falls within the Schedule 14 definition of "travel related arrangements" does not carry on business as a travel agent if that activity is carried on in circumstances that are unrelated to other activities described in section 4(1)(a), (b), (c) and (e).
