a	1. Objectives

d	The objectives of these Regulations are to amend
n	the Travel Agents Regulations 1997 to—
a	(a) prescribe further particulars for the purpose
n	of section 8 of the Travel Agents Act 1986;
o
ti	and
la	(b) revoke a regulation prescribing a form which
is	is no longer required.
g	2. Authorising provision
e	These Regulations are made under section 48 of
L	the Travel Agents Act 1986.

a	3. Commencement
ri	These Regulations come into operation on
to	1 November 2003.

4. Principal Regulations

In these Regulations, the Travel Agents

Regulations 1997 are called the Principal

n	Regulations.
e	5. Additional information by applicants that are
m	bodies corporate

c	After regulation 9(d)(xii) of the Principal
o	Regulations insert—
D	"(xiii) the date of appointment of the director;".
ry	6. Particulars regarding persons in charge of business
ta	premises
n	After regulation 10(k) of the Principal Regulations
e	insert—

ia	"(l) the date the person commenced or will
rl	commence being present and in charge of the
a	day-to-day conduct of the travel agency
P	business.".
d	7. Form and particulars in the register of the
n	Authority
a	(1) Regulation 16 of the Principal Regulations is
n	revoked.

ti	(2) Schedule 4 to the Principal Regulations is
