s1 2 s5 Travel Agents Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2004 No. 17, 2004 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Travel Agents Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2004 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 15 March 2004. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Travel Agents Regulation 1998. 4 Replacement of s 6 (Due date for paying annual licence fee and lodging annual return) Section 6— omit, insert— ‘6 Due date for paying licence fee and lodging return ‘For section 19(2) of the Act, the prescribed day is the last day of the month in which the licence was granted in each year the licence fee is payable. Example 1 — X is granted a licence on 23 November 2004 after paying an annual licence fee. The next prescribed day is 30 November 2005. Example 2 — Y is granted a licence on 14 August 2004 after paying a triennial licence fee. The next prescribed day is 31 August 2007.’. 5 Amendment of sch 3 (Prescribed qualifications and approved travel training courses) Schedule 3, section 5(2), ‘sections (1) to (3)’— omit, insert— ‘sections 1 to 3’.
