Travel Agents Amendment (Fees)

Regulation 2010

Travel Agents Act 1986

His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Travel Agents Act 1986.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Travel Agents Regulation 2006 to increase application fees for licensing payable under the Travel Agents Act 1986. The fee increases are generally in line with movements in the Consumer Price Index (rounded to the nearest dollar). This Regulation is made under the Travel Agents Act 1986, including sections 7A (Application to licences of Licensing and Registration (Uniform Procedures) Act 2002), 15 (Register of licensees), 17 (Annual fee and annual statement) and 57 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Travel Agents Amendment (Fees)
Regulation 2010.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 July 2010 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.
