Amendment Regulations 2020

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.   Citation

These regulations are the Transport (Road Passenger Services)

Amendment Regulations 2020.

2.   Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(4) The provider of an authorised on-demand booking
service may, in accordance with subregulation (5), authorise any of the following persons to carry out a

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on 1 May 2020.

3. Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Transport (Road Passenger

Services) Regulations 2019.

4.           Regulation 35ZF amended

Delete regulation 35ZF(4) and insert:

function under subregulation (3) on the provider's

behalf —

(a)	an employee of the provider;
(b)	a person engaged by the provider under a contract for services who is competent to carry out the function;
(c)	a person who supplies, installs or maintains camera surveillance units that meet the requirements of regulation 35ZA(3).
