An Act to amend section 202 of the Transport Act, 1930, in relation to the Road Transport and Traffic Fund, consequent upon the enactment of the Recreation Vehicles Act, 1983. [Assented to, 21st December, 1983.]

Transport {Recreation Vehicles) Amendment.

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title.

1.          This Act may be cited as the “Transport (Recreation Vehicles)

Amendment Act, 1983”.

Commencement.

2.     (1) Sections 1 and 2 shall commence on the date of assent to this Act.

(2) Except as provided by subsection (1), this Act shall commence on the day appointed and notified under section 2 (2) of the Recreation Vehicles Act, 1983.

Amendment of Act No. 18, 1930.

3. The Transport Act, 1930, is amended in the manner set forth in

Schedule 1.

(1) (a) Section 202 (1 ) (i) —

Omit “ 1931; and”, insert instead “ 1931;” .

(b) Section 202 (1) ( i l ) —

After section 202 (1) (i), insert:—

(il)   all fees paid to the Commissioner for Motor Transport under the Recreation Vehicles Act, 1983; and

(2) (a) Section 202 (2) (m )—

Omit “1931.”, insert instead “1931; and”.

(b) Section 202 ( / ) (n) —

After section 202 (2) (m), insert:—

(n) all administrative and other expenses of the Commis­ sioner for Motor Transport in respect of the Recreation Vehicles Act, 1983.
